I’m a full-time communications professional based in Edmonton, Alberta. I’ve worked as a freelance writer for publications including the St. Albert Gazette, SEE Magazine, Westworld Magazine, MacIntyre-Purcell Publishing, Lone Pine Publishing, The Western Producer, University of Alberta Express News, University of Alberta Folio and others. Two years ago I made the move into professional communications, first working for the Alberta New Democrats before joining the communications section at the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees, Alberta’s largest union.
I have experience writing feature stories, speeches, news releases, op-ed columns, advertising copy and reports. I also am available for work as a freelance photographer, shooting events, portraits, weddings and landscapes.
